We very much appreciate the tremendous support we receive from all who donate to the Foodbank in Rugby at Harvest Festival time. However, we are very aware that in the current Covid-19 situation many organisations such as Churches and Schools are not able to participate in donating to Foodbank as for previous years. We appreciate that this year traditional Harvest donations are therefore sadly unlikely to be feasible. We therefore wanted to let you know of some very new Harvest Festival developments and how you could still partner with the foodbank this year.
Rugby foodbank and Rugby Youth for Christ have collaborated to produce the short Harvest Festival foodbank video attached herewith. The video includes why we celebrate harvest, the work of the foodbank and an encouragement to continue to support the foodbank this Harvest time either through a financial donation via our online giving page or donating food in one of the supermarket collection points.
