Donate food

Our Foodbank relies on your goodwill and support. Currently Food donations can be dropped off in our in store supermarket baskets or directly at the Foodbank warehouse at the Lawn & Terrace Warehouse (Newbold Rd, CV21 2LN) on Monday to Friday between 9:30 and 12:00.

Currently thanks to the tremendous support of the Rugby community and our local supermarkets we have excess stock of Baked Beans, Pasta and Soup, so please do not donate any more of these items just now. Our immediate needs are shown on this page and on our phone app.

Note: For the Covid-19 safety of yourselves and our volunteers please wear a face mask when you visit the foodbank on all occasions.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations:

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Please note: Tesco and Asda Public Collection Points are intended for food that has been purchased in-store. Food that has been purchased in a different store and brought into the PCP store should be sealed by the donor and clearly labelled as having been purchased elsewhere.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
