This Harvest, we’re asking the whole Rugby community to come together and help us fill the shelves at Rugby Foodbank.
Harvest is one of the most important times of year for food donations, and this year our stocks are low. We’re hoping that people across Rugby will join together and help us make this Harvest count.
Can Rugby give even more this year?
Last year, the people of Rugby donated an incredible 9 tonnes of food during Harvest.
This year, we’d love to see if we can go even further.
It doesn’t matter whether you can collect 5kg, 50kg or 500kg. Every donation helps us provide essential food and support to people in our local community who are struggling.
Your support makes a real difference
Over the last year, since Harvest 2025, Rugby Foodbank provided 5,835 food parcels to people experiencing financial hardship and crisis.
35% of those parcels went to children.
Behind every food parcel is a local person or family facing a difficult time. Your Harvest donations help ensure that when someone needs our support, we have food available to give them.
How can you get involved?
There are lots of ways to make Harvest a community effort.
- Get your family involved
Ask everyone in your household to choose a few items from our shopping list and build your own Harvest collection.
- Bring your street together
Why not organise a collection with your neighbours? If each household contributes a few items, your street could quickly make a significant donation.
- Get your workplace involved
Set up a collection point and encourage colleagues to bring in a few items during your Harvest collection.
- Ask your school, church or community group
Organise a collection, fundraising event, Harvest supper or another activity to bring people together and support local families.
- Host a Harvest supper
Bring people together for food and fellowship and invite everyone to bring a donation for Rugby Foodbank.
- Have a quiz
Our Foodbank Quiz is a great way to get people together, have some fun and encourage donations at the same time.

What should I donate?
The most helpful donations are the items that local people need most.
Please check our latest shopping list before organising your collection. This helps us make the best possible use of your generous donations.

You can also share the shopping list with your family, friends, colleagues, school, church or community group.
